About This Event

Are you registered to vote? Do you know your rights at the polls? This free, nonpartisan workshop walks attendees through everything they need to know about voter registration in Minnesota, including same-day registration, ID requirements, absentee and mail-in voting, and what to do if your rights are challenged at a polling place. Led by trained civic educators, the session includes time for Q&A and one-on-one registration assistance — bring your ID and proof of address and you can register on the spot. Materials available in English, Spanish, Hmong, and Somali. This workshop is especially valuable for first-time voters, recently naturalized citizens, college students, and anyone who has moved recently and needs to update their registration. All are welcome.
